Putu Restiti is 19 years old talented girl from the Batur lakeside village – Songan, Kintamani, Bali. A region in North Bali with a population of approximately 15 thousand inhabitants. Restiti was born with two blessings alongside a similar two sides of one coin. Talent & physical limitations.

A bone growth disorder makes Restiti must depend on her Mom and her wheelchair ever since she was born. Living her life as the poor, lack of information in the family on treating kids with difability make the sweet Restiti missed her precious opportunity to go to school.

On November 2010, based on data of people with disability in YAKKUM Bali, Restiti was found by couple of volunteers who sent to the village to check her latest conditions. For a young girl with difability Restiti never made any medical report during her lifetime, which is indicate that she never go to hospital or public health facility to check her bone growth disorder syndrome.

By the time she was founded on that November 2010, Restiti was sewing a lot of beautiful mini clothes at a size of a small doll. It was captivating all the volunteers who found her by the time. For a young girl living with difability, who never go to school even go out from her house, can create such a detail artwork needs a gift. And Restiti is truly gifted.

For the last six months some volunteers from creative community in Bali assist her intensely  in developing her talent.  Start from an illustrator, a graphic designer, a web developer, some journalist and photographer are collaborate together for Restiti. Six months after Restiti was founded, now (May 2011) she already on her right track on the way to go for a better living. She also already has her own signature for all her handmade artwork, known as PURE.

PURE is the brand for Restiti handmade artwork, mostly Balinese Kebaya that suit to a Barbie size. The Kebaya made from various of fine quality fabric i.e polyester, taffeta, chiffon, voile, satin, or any available unused fabric. Yes, all the artwork that Restiti made are using only the unused fabric.
